At Valerio’s, bread is more than food—it’s memory, it’s connection, it’s community. Baker and owner Victor Valerio first opened the doors of his bakery in 1998 after serving 21 commited years to the US Navy. Victor and the Valerio family bake their bread fresh, every day with the same care and joy that was passed down from his parents, who opened the first Valerio's in National City back in 1979. We believe food should bring people together. Our bakery is a space where tradition meets creativity, where heritage meets hospitality, and where every customer is welcomed like family.
